Dr. Erica Seville
Erica provides consulting advice to a wide variety of sectors, including the mining, oil and gas, health, construction, education, transport, insurance and telecommunications sectors.
Erica is an Adjunct Senior Fellow with the Department of Civil and Natural Resources Engineering at the University of Canterbury. She has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree and a Ph.D. in risk assessment.
As well as being a director of Risk Strategies, Erica also co-leads the Resilient Organisations research programme (www.resorgs.org.nz) which involves researchers and practitioners from around New Zealand working to making organisations more resilient in the face of major hazards in the natural, built and economic environments.
Erica is the only non-Australian member of the Resilience Expert Advisory Group, providing advice and support to the Critical Infrastructure Advisory Committee of the Australian Federal Government.
